School Lunch
Students must order their choice of lunch each morning by 8:45 AM in their classrooms. Whether they have money deposited on line, bring cash or a check, or qualify for free or reduced price lunch, all children must indicate their choice of lunch in the morning. Once they do that, the lunch is ordered. If your child is coming late to school, please make sure he or she has a lunch from home or else call the office by 8:40 AM to order a lunch for him or her. If you have any questions, please call PAUSD Food Services at 329-3720.

School-Parent Partnership
One of the things that make Barron Park Elementary School special is that parents and teachers share the goal of creating a wonderful and supportive school experience. Just as we want our children to treat each other considerately, we encourage parents and teachers at Barron Park to strive for an atmosphere of mutual respect. For many, joining a public elementary school community is a new experience. It takes time to learn how the system works, and each school community is a little different. Understanding our children’s academic and social development in the classroom and on the playground can be an enormous challenge. The Barron Park Site Council created this School-Parent Partnership to provide guidance to parents and staff on working effectively together.

Please Help by Donating School Supplies
Due to the State funding cuts, we need your help to provide our students with needed materials. Please consult the Grade Level and School wide Supply List Requests for suggestions.

February 5, 2008: Annual Open House and Curriculum Night
This year’s curriculum focus will be on math across the grade levels. Every classroom will be open, with math displays, activities, and examples of student work. A particular focus this year will be on the ways mathematics is integrated with science, technology, social studies, and other subject areas. Bring the whole family, and invite neighbors who may be retired or whose children may not yet be in school.
6:30–7:30 PM in all Classrooms

October 31, 2007: Halloween Celebration
We celebrated Halloween by dressing up in costume and parading around the playground.
