and PTA? Parent-Teacher Association Look over this year’s proposed budget Please join the PTA and volunteer for a few hours. Donations of both time and money are equally important to the success of all students at Barron Park. Every PTA function, from the ice skating party to the Juana Run, needs volunteers. We appreciate all families who can give a few hours to help with school activities. Children feel so special when they see their parents helping at school. Please give a bit of your time. The PTA also needs financial support. Thank you for supporting the Barron Park PTA. 2004-2005 PTA Officers & Volunteers Parent-Teacher Association | Site Council | Educational Technology Site CouncilThe Site Council is a state-mandated group of elected parents, teachers, and staff who help create, approve and oversee the school’s improvement plan and budget. It also serves as an advisory council to the principal on key issues. Meetings are open for anyone to attend and usually take place the second Monday of each month at 5:15 PM in the staff room. This year the ETC will continue to plan fund-raising strategies for new equipment for new classrooms and to replace equipment that cannot be repaired.
